Starting our work in Indonesia under the name World Population Fund in 1997, we went through various changes and historic milestones. Currently, we have successfully implemented various work programs, including (in the 2016-2020 period) the Prevention+, Get Up Speak Out, Yes, I Do and Dance4life programs, as well as (in the 2021-2025 period) the Generation Gender, Right Here Right program Now and Power to You(th).
Rutgers Indonesia has now transformed into the Gemilang Sehat Indonesia Foundation/ Yayasan Gemilang Sehat Indonesia (YGSI). We will continue to fight for Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and Overcoming Sexual and Gender-Based Violence in Indonesia.
