Phenomenological research conducted by Rizky Murdiana et al on persons with disabilities and the SIGAB institution as an institution that oversees the issue of sexual violence in Yogyakarta. Based on the findings, in cases of sexual violence against disabilities, there are still basic problems including the condition of a person’s disability which is still lacking attention. This is exacerbated by the negative stigma that exists in society towards groups with disabilities, such as being considered crazy and weak. Second, the lack of education regarding sexual and reproductive health for groups with disabilities. When adequate access is not available and there is a lack of understanding regarding disability issues in various law enforcement circles in society. Fourth, the absence of centralized data collection on sexual violence cases in Yogyakarta has caused the available data to vary from institution to institution.
